This year my goal is to embrace a slower pace as we head into the holiday season.
Here in Chicago, I’ve had my winter coat out for the entire month of November. It gets windy and cold fast, but I love the slow, cozy days that the winter season brings. I’m looking forward to bundling up for winter walks, seeing the Lincoln Park Zoo lights, visiting Christkindlmarket for some warm gluhwein, and decorating our apartment for Christmas.
I LOVE welcoming the holiday into our home decor by incorporating extra warmth through candle sources. There’s nothing better than filling our home with quality seasonal scents through baking, cooking, and candles!
I’ve rounded up the best holiday candles below so you can embrace a cozy home, too.

Holiday Candles:
THE BEST HOLIDAY CANDLES:
I personally LOVE the Illume Balsam Cedar scent candle. It smells amazing and I’ve purchased for a few holiday seasons now. 😍
SOY/BEESWAX CANDLE OPTIONS:
In the past few years, I’ve been more mindful about what products I put on my body. I also found out that candles are not the best for indoor air. I haven’t fully given up candles, (TOO HARD for me!) but I like to use more soy/beeswax options when I can.
EXTRAS:
All of my favorites! Candle snuffers, matches, taper candles…say no more!
