I’m excited to share our Charlotte mood board! Light and bright is what I’m going for in our new space. We plan to reuse majority of our large furniture as it is still in good shape. I’m excited to incorporate some new art, light fixtures, and rugs.
More about our big move here: We’ve Moved!
Charlotte Mood Board Art
I found the High Fiving Tulip print and Avocado Botanical from Coco Shalom, who is a Charleston, South Carolina based artist. I’m really hoping to add art specific to the North Carolina region, as well. The Blue Ridge View in acrylic/oil is by Christina Dowdy who works locally in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Furniture
Our current side tables are too large to fit next to our bed, so I’ve been on the hunt for smaller options. I love the look of the Pottery Barn Sausalito mini nightstands. Overstock has the same look for a fraction of the price. I also have this cocktail table in our Amazon storefront. It could be the perfect size for our living room space.
Rugs
I love the pop of color from the Naples rug. If all works out, I think this would be a wonderful addition to our bedroom. I’m hoping the Ripple rug works out in our upstairs bathroom.
Mood Board Lights/Decor
In keeping with the light and bright theme, I’m incorporating more rattan and scallops. The first table lamp is too adorable! I also love the size of the swing lamp and hope to use this in our living room, if needed. Additionally, you all know I’m such a sucker for good houseplants. I really like the color on this one, as well as the look of a boxwood in our space.
This is all a work in progress and will take time to implement, but it’s really fun to dream up a new space. Thanks for following along!
