We are enjoying more patio time outdoors as the weather warms. Patios, decks, balconies, and backyards become an extension of our home during warm weather months. Colin and I both love the concept of indoor-outdoor living and try to incorporate outdoor furniture that plays off of our home decor.
I particularly love to mix metals, wicker, rattan, and plushy cushions to create a welcoming outdoor environment. We both tend to gravitate more towards neutral colors, so the florals and greens of the outdoors really pop! Let’s take a look at some outdoor furniture must-haves for the upcoming spring and summer months.
Our club patio chairs have held up through four Chicago winters and a cross country move! At the beginning of each season, I individually spray each cushion with Scotchgard for extra protection against the elements. We also make sure our furniture is stored away or covered during periods of rain. We’ve had great luck using these chair protectors from Amazon.
