We have been hard at work unpacking the past few days. We are finally at the point where we can focus on rearranging furniture, styling decor, and hanging art (my favorite!). While hanging our art, I have been sourcing places to buy quality frames. So far, I’ve used most of our old frames, but we are in need of a few new frames to fit our space. I thought it would be the perfect time to share where to buy frames.

Drywall Picture Hangers
Our Chicago apartment had so many concrete walls which made hanging pictures super challenging. This time around we used drywall picture hangers from 3M. They are AMAZING! The hooks made our hanging process seamless. Additionally, the holes created by the picture hangers are very minimal, which is great for renting because it makes filling and patching holes a breeze!
Art Frames
Now let’s talk: art frames! I searched high and low for a new natural wood frame that fits 11×14 art for our primary bedroom. I tried a Better Homes and Garden frame from Walmart, but it sadly arrived broken. I recently purchased a frame on Etsy, which I hope to report back is made better, but I really love the look of the large mat.
I adore the look of various frames when hanging art throughout your space. It’s so fun mixing brass and wood textures, as well as white/natural and black colored frames. I’ve rounded up some great options below.
I hope this helps encourage you to hang your art.
