Ideas for Bedroom Design
Our old bedroom was more modern to fit in with our Chicago high-rise living. I’m tying in some lighter colors to brighten up the overall feel of our darker bed and dresser in our new room. I’m naturally drawn to blues, so loving the blue accents in our rug. Additionally, I thought it would be fun to use yellow orange/browns in our art, as well as our lumbar pillow. I love to mix various patterns when I can!
We bought a new bed for our room and plan to use our old bed for the guest bedroom. We’re also reusing our dresser, which is in great shape. I’ve had a difficult time finding nightstand tables that are small enough to fit on both sides of the bed. We both love drawers for added function, so the Sausalito mini nightstands seems like a good fit. However, I don’t love the price point. I bought an amazing Wayfair dupe, but they were a bit too large for our space. The hunt continues!
As always, this is a work in progress that will take time to imagine, create, and build. In the meantime, I love to share my design ideas with you.
