It has been a hot yet stunning summer season here in North Carolina. I absolutely adore the numerous trees with pink blooms that line so many streets! I’ve been spending a lot of time on our patio where we have hummingbirds galore. They enjoy sitting on our string lights before continuing their journey. It’s a welcomed reminder to enjoy the small moments.

INSPIRATIONS LATELY 8.8
Here are a few of my musings, creations, and inspirations lately, 8.8 edition.
So very inspired by this living room space. I especially adore the stacked books and dark wood writing desk, paired with the simple slipcovered chair.
This whole kitchen screams cozy, cottage and it is done so well. The contrast between the paneling and countertops is beautiful. The assortment of cream pitchers, arranged imperfectly on the shelves, adds to the overall charm of the space.
I would just love to see this framed in a kitchen space!
This is such a pretty summer dining room. The use of red, coral, and pink colors adds a nice touch to the beach house vibe.
This has been the summer of reading for me. I’ve loved reading ever since I was a kid, but it’s been on the back burner for the past few years. It feels so good to get back into it. Comment below on any books I should add to my list. ❤️
In my mind, this photo is pure August. I’m soaking in all of the long evenings outside listening to the cicadas while watching the sky change colors.
